In celebration of the international art festival, Art Basel Miami Beach, SUSHISAMBA presents GINZATROPICALIA, a groundbreaking art exhibition that pays homage to Street Art culture and global city soul. This year SUSHISAMBA takes it one step further by launching its pop-up restaurant, located at the GINZATROPICALIA exhibition space. Dubbed SUGARCANE Lounge after the restaurant’s New York and Las Vegas outposts, the three-day eatery will offer signature favorites including sushi rolls and small plates – just a taste of the full-scale SUGARCANE Lounge that is anticipated to open in Midtown Miami in December 2009. Alongside the spectacular work of eleven international graffiti artists, this year’s event will capture the vibe of the streets in the gallery space with progressive break-dancing, cutting-edge fashion and the gravity-defying tricks of Miami skateboarders.
